We were saddened to hear of the passing of George Franki. George was an enthusiastic researcher and a valued supporter of Mosman 1914- 1918: Doing Our Bit.

Today (21 September 2017) is the 100th anniversary of Patrick Francis Hogan being killed in action. He was a journalist who enlisted in the AIF in February 1915.

On the 20th AUG 1917, 2/Lt P.G. Taylor Shot down an enemy 2-seater aircraft. The experience increased his yearning to finish the war and return home.
