Died on service

Edward John Goodwin was seriously wounded by enemy shell fire at Guedecourt on 11 January 1917.  He died later that day at the 1st Anzac Main Casualty Clearing Station and is buried at Dartmoor Cemetery, Becordel-Becourt, Somme, France.  [JSB]
