Enlisted in the AIF in April 1915 and served with the Australian Army Service Corps. He served at Gallipoli and Egypt with the AIF before being posted to the British Camel Transport Corps.
He was mentioned in despatches for his conspicous service.
He died at Alexandria, Egpyt on 25 November 1918 from the effects of malaria. [JSB]
