Died: 7 June 1917

One of 50 members of the 45th Battalion missing in action following the Battalion's participation in the Battle of Messines.  He went missing on the first day of the battle.  A Court of Inquiry in April 1918 formally found that he was killed on 7 June 1917.  His body was recovered after the war and buried at Messines Ridge British Cemetery.
