William Pouget enlisted in the AIF on 21 August 1914 and departed with the 4th Battalion from Sydney on 20 October 1914. His battalion landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. He was killed in action during the Battle of Lone Pine which started on 6 August 1915. [JSB]
