A bricklayer who enlisted in the AIF on 31 July 1916. He embarked for England on 9 November and arrived on 9 January 1917.
He joined the 2nd Battalion in France on 10 May 1917.
He embarked for Australia on 23 July 1919 and arrived on 15 October then was discharged from the AIF on 29 November 1919. [JSB]
