A trained nurse who was appointed to the AIF on 7 August 1916. She embarked for England on 9 December and arrived in January 1917.
She joined the British 12th Stationary Hospital at Rouen, France on 9 February 1917. She was transferred to the British 25th General Hospital at Hardelot, France in July 1917 and remained there until transferred in November 1917 to the 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital at Harefield, England.
Following hospitalisations with gastritis in January and April 1918, it was decided that she should return to Australia. She embarked on 12 May 1918 and arrived in June and soon after sought further service overseas.
She embarked for Egypt on 9 November 1918 and arrived on 11 December then joined the British 31st General Hospital at Abassia, Egypt where she remained until transferred to the British 45th General Hospital.
She embarked for Australia on 3 July 1919 and arrived on 10 August then her appointment in the AIF was terminated on 18 September 1919. [JSB]
