A Catholic priest who was appointed a Chaplain to the AIF on 4 May 1917. He embarked for England on 23 June and arrived on 25 August 1917.
He was attached as a chaplain to various personnel holding units in England and France before being attached to the 5th Australian Division in France from 20 June 1918 until December 1918. He returned to England where he was attached once more to various holding units.
He embarked for Australia on 3 May and arrived on 24 June then his appointment in the AIF was terminated on 24 July 1919. [JSB]
