An engineer who enlisted in the AIF on 21 September 1917. He embarked for England on 30 October and arrived on 27 December 1917.
Following further training, he joined the 6th Training Squadron at Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire on 10 June 1918.
He embarked for Australia on 15 May and arrived on 1 July then was discharged from the AIF on 28 July 1919. [JSB]
