A harness maker who enlisted in the AIF in Western Australia on 10 Nov 1914. He embarked for Egypt on 22 February 1915.
He landed at Gallipoli with the 12th Battalion on 25 April 1915. He was evacuated from Gallipoli due to the recurrence of an injury to his leg and arrived in Alexandria, Egypt on 2 May 1915.
He embarked for Australia on 10 June 1915 and arrived on 10 July 1915. He was discharged from the AIF medically unfit on 15 November 1915. [JSB]
