Biographical Summary:
A fighter ace with No. 4 Squadron, Australian Flying Corps, flying Sopwith Camels on the Western Front.
Fought Richthofen’s Red Circus in March 1918, and won the Military Cross for his actions during the German Spring offensive.
Took command of “C” Flight at No. 5 (Training) Squadron, AFC, at Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, in August 1918.
