A trained nurse who enlisted in the AIF on 24 April 1917. She embarked for Egypt on 12 June and arrived on 17 July 1917.
She embarked for Salonika (Thessaloniki), Greece on 12 August 1917 and joined the British 50th General Hospital where she served until February 1919 when she went on leave in the UK. She then attended non-military employment training courses there in motor vehicle use between April and July 1919.
She was awarded the Greek Medal for Military Merit, 4th Class for conspicuous services.
She embarked for Australia on 28 August 1919 serving on the Nursing Staff of HMAT Kanowna. She arrived on 26 October then was discharged from the AIF on 29 February 1920. [JSB]
