A grazier who enlisted in the AIF on 31 May 1915 and embarked for Egypt on 19 June.
He embarked for Gallipoli from Egypt on 16 August and would have arrived within a week. He was killed in the charge on Hill 60 on 27 August 1915. His wife was living at Mosman with her mother, Minnie Henderson, at the time. [JSB]
