WWI Action and Inaction

Nace didn't actually see any action because the war ended before the ship docked.

His brother, Patrick, enlisted in 1915, saw action and was gassed.  He was listed as "missing in action" until he contacted his mother by letter to say he was in an English hospital recovering from his wounds.
