Son of Robert and Mary Jane Dargan, of 36 Ourimbah Road, Mosman.
Gunner, Australian Field Artillery, 3rd Battery, 1st Brigade.
Served before WWI with the 5th Australian Garrison Artillery.
Gallipoli.
Died of wounds (G.S.W. left side), Hospital Ship Galeka, Lemnos island. Buried East Mudros Military Cemetery.
Letter from his sister in the service records suggest a flesh wound untreated for 10 days caused his death.
