William Grafton Reay

Biographical Summary:
A bank officer who enlisted in the AIF on 4 July 1917. He embarked for England on 21 November 1917 and arrived in mid-February 1918.
Following further training in England, he joined the 2nd Field Company, Engineers which was in a rest area at Yaucourt-Bussus, France on 14 October 1918. The unit had been withdrawn from the front line for the last time on 26 September.
He embarked for Australia on 16 June 1919 and arrived on 4 August then was discharged from the AIF on 27 August 1919.
