Biographical Summary:
A clerk who enlisted in the AIF on 21 August 1914. He embarked with the 3rd Battalion for Egypt on 20 October 1914.
He landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 and was wounded (arm and chest) that day. He was evacuated to Malta and then England for treatment.
He embarked for Australia on 8 October and arrived on 20 November 1915. He had further treatment before his discharge from the AIF on 12 September 1916. [JSB]
