Biographical Summary:
A jackeroo who enlisted in the AIF on 21 July 1915. He embarked for Egypt on 5 October 1915.
On 28 December 1915, he joined the 7th Light Horse Regiment then in quick succession he was transferred to the 2nd Light Horse Reserve Regiment on 1 March, then the 12th Light Horse Regiment on 18 May and then the Imperial Camel Corps on 15 July 1916.
He was transferred to the Australian Army Service Corps (ASC) on 4 August 1917 and initially served at the ASC Training Depot before becoming a driver with the 37th ASC Company on 5 December 1917.
He embarked for Australia on 15 June 1919 and arrived on 28 July then was discharged from the AIF on 1 February 1920. [JSB]
