Biographical Summary:
Wounded in action on 18 April 1918 when a gas shell exploded in the cellar where he was working. He died on 3 May 1918 from the effects of the intense gassing.
Awarded the Military Cross for his distingushed service "in action and in the line" as Adjutant of the 33rd Battalion.
