Biographical Summary:
A 4th Year Medicine student at Sydney University who enlisted in the AIF on 28 July 1915. He embarked for Egypt on 9 November 1915 and arrived in late December 1915.
His unit, the 2nd Australian Casualty Clearance Station moved to France, in late April 1916.
He embarked for Australia on 29 December 1916 in order to complete his Medical degree. He was discharged from the AIF on 22 March 1917.
He died at Adelaide on 30 May 1917 as a result of a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The coroner was open as to whether this was intentional. [JSB]
