Biographical Summary:
Son of John Richard and Agnes Jane Allen, of "Aura," 28 Lang Street, Mosman.
Probably killed by sniper fire on 27 May 1916 (see Commanders Diary, 18th Battalion, May 1916, which reported that only 1 OR was killed that day and that was by sniper fire). At the time his unit, the 18th Battalion, was at the front at Bois-Grenier near Armentieres.
