Biographical Summary:
A station manager who enlisted in the AIF on 5 July 1916. He embarked for England on 23 November and arrived on 29 January 1917.
He joined in England the newly formed 25th Machine Gun Company which moved to France on 8 September 1917. His unit became part of the newly formed 5th Machine Gun Battalion in March 1918.
He embarked for Australia on 10 June and arrived on 5 August 1919 then was discharged from the AIF on 13 September 1919. [JSB]
