Biographical Summary:
A telegraph lineman who enlisted in the AIF on 24 January 1916. He embarked for Egypt on 27 May 1916.
He joined the Imperial Camel Corps on 18 July 1916. He was admitted to hospital for two weeks in August and again in September for treatment of various illnesses before being diagnosed with tuberculosis in November 1916.
He embarked for Australia on 22 January 1917 and arrived on 22 February then was discharged medically unfit from the AIF on 27 August 1917. [JSB]
