Biographical Summary:
A clerk who enlisted in the AIF on 11 January 1916. He embarked for Mesopotamia (the then name for the region along the Tigris–Euphrates river system extending from Turkey to the Arabian Gulf) on 5 February and arrived at Basrah on 20 March 1916.
He immediately joined the 1st Australian Wireless Squadron.
He embarked for Australia on 26 February 1919 and arrived on 19 April then was discharged from the AIF on 7 June 1919. [JSB]
