Biographical Summary:

A student at Wagga Experiment Farm who enlisted in the AIF on 23 July 1917. He embarked for England on 19 December and arrived on 13 February 1918.

Following further training in England, on 13 October 1918 he joined the 12th Field Ambulance at Seux, France. The unit had withdrawn from the front line for the last time three weeks earlier.

He embarked for Australia on 23 July 1919 and arrived on 10 September then was discharged from the AIF on 4 October 1919. [JSB]
