Biographical Summary:
A forest guard who enlisted in the AIF on 27 November 1917. He embarked for England on 17 July and arrived on 27 September 1918.
He commenced training as a reinforcement for the 35th Battalion but was hospitalised with a displaced kneecap on 15 October. He returned to training on 12 November but five days later was back in hospital where he remained until 31 December 1918.
He embarked for Australia on 25 January and arrived on 22 March then was discharged medically unfit on 8 May 1919.
Uncle of James Kenneth Wyvenleigh Hamilton and Geoffrey George Gladstone Hamilton. [JSB]
