Biographical Summary:

A carpenter who enlisted in the AIF on 9 October 1916. He embarked for England on 24 January 1917 and arrived on 27 March 1917.

After further training in England, he joined the 35th Battalion in France on 23 October 1917.

He embarked for Australia on 1 April 1919 and arrived on 16 May 1919. He was discharged from the AIF on 11 July 1919. [JSB]
