Biographical Summary:
An engineer who enlisted in the AIF in February 1917 and understated his age as 36 years when in fact it was 43 years. He departed for Egypt on 10 May 1917.
After transiting in Western Australia he arrived in Egypt on 6 August 1917. He initially served with the 3rd Anzac Battalion, Imperial Camel Corps and in August 1918 transferred to the 1st Australian Light Horse Regiment.
He embarked for Australia on 21 March 1919 and arrived on 19 April 1919. He was discharged from the AIF on 17 May 1919. [JSB]
