Biographical Summary:
An cadet architect with the NSW Department of Public Works who enlisted in the AIF on 8 October 1916. He embarked for England on 10 February and arrived on 11 April 1917.
He joined the 8th Field Artillery Brigade in Belgium on 14 August 1917.
He delayed his return to Australia to take paid leave to attend the School of Architecture, Liverpool University between March and December 1919. He embarked for Australia on 9 January 1920 and arrived on 27 February then was discharged from the AIF on 12 April 1920. [JSB]
