Biographical Summary:
Served with the Australian Naval & Military Expeditionary Force between August 1914 and March 1915.
He enlisted with the AIF in May 1915 as a reinforcement for the 3rd Battalion. He arrived at Gallipoli on 30 July and was killed in the initial charge at Lone Pine at 6 pm on 6 August 1915. [JSB]
