Biographical Summary:
A salesman at David Jones department store who enlisted in the AIF on 14 June 1917. At the time he lived at Manly but his wife then moved to Mosman. He embarked for England on 16 July 1917 and arrived on 16 September 1917.
Following further training in England, he joined the 20th Battalion in Belgium on 27 January 1918. He was killed action on 31 August 1918 at Feuillaucourt, France on the first day of the Battle of Mont St Quentin. He was one of 22 from the 20th killed that day. [JSB]
