Biographical Summary:
At 13, Harold Alcock had a lucky escape when a carriage overturned on a train home from Wollongong. The newspapers reported Harold Alcock (13), of Belmont-road, Mosman, cut on knee and shock.
His father may have been a foundation member of the Mosman Musical Society.
Harold Alcock married Mabel, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. R. Ward, Mosman, late of Adelaide, on 20 January 1923 at St. Clement's Church, Mosman.
Family Notices show Harold Alcock of 'Stirling', Gentle Street, Lane Cove, died aged 32 on 21 November 1928 at a private hospital at Longueville. Named are his wife Mabel, two sons Alan and Ray, and parents Walter and Alice Alcock of 105 "Belmore-road" (probably Belmont Road), Mosman. Harold had two sisters, Muriel and Win. He was buried at Church of England Cemetery, Northern Suburbs.
