Biographical Summary:

A land salesman who enlisted in the AIF on 26 July 1915. He embarked for Egypt on 18 November and arrived on 21 December 1915.

He was diagnosed on 10 January 1916 with “ankylosed (stiffened) ankle” and it was decided that he should return to Australia.

He embarked on 28 January 1916 and arrived on 17 March then was discharged from the AIF on 13 June 1916. [JSB]
