Biographical Summary:
A jackeroo who enlisted in the AIF on 20 October 1915. He embarked for Egypt on 17 December and arrived in January 1916.
On 24 January he joined the 1st Divisional Ammunition Column which arrived at Marseilles, France on 2 April 1916 and immediately moved to Le Havre in northern France. On 10 December 1916, he was transferred to the 5th Mobile Veterinary Section then under the command of his brother, Cecil Julian Manning Walters.
He embarked for Australia on 8 May 1919 and arrived on 26 June then was discharged from the AIF on 18 August 1919. [JSB]
