Biographical Summary:
Served at Gallipoli with the 1st Field Artillery Brigade. He transferred to the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade and while serving with it was wounded in action on three occasions – 3 June 1916 (buttocks), 31 October 1916 (head) and 3 March 1917 (abdomen and multiple other wounds). He died of wounds at the 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station located at Dernancourt on 4 March 1917. [JSB]
