Biographical Summary:
Garnet Reginald Halloran, M.D., Ch.M., B.Sc.; F.R.C.S. (Edin.), F.R.A.C.S. : Captain, R.A.M.C., England and Egypt; also Surgeon, French Red Cross, France. After service with Red Cross at Hopital Anglais, Caen, was attached to 3rd French Army Corps in July, 1915, and served with it till appointed Civil Surgeon at Brook War Hospital in England in September, 1916. Subsequently, joining R.A.M.C. in London as lieutenant in January, 1918, was attached to Egyptian Expeditionary Force, till the end of the War, returning to Australia on demobilisation. Promoted captain, July, 1918.
