Biographical Summary:
An accountant who enlisted in the AIF on 23 March 1917. He embarked for England on 14 June and arrived on 26 August 1917.
After further training in England he joined the 25th Battalion which was near Warneton on the France-Belgium border on 4 January 1918. In October, he was absorbed into the 26th Battalion after the 25th was demobilised. In January 1919, he was transferred to the 2nd Australian Divisional Train.
He embarked for Australia on 19 August and arrived on 10 October then was discharged from the AIF on 26 December 1919. [JSB]
