Biographical Summary:

A clerk with the NSW Department of Public Instruction who enlisted in the AIF in September 1915. He embarked for Egypt on 18 November 1915. Soon after arriving in Egypt, he fractured his femur on 22 January 1916. He was declared medically unfit and departed for Australia on 12 April 1916. He was discharged from the AIF on 10 August 1916.
