Biographical Summary:

An insurance inspector who enlisted in the AIF on 8 September 1917. He embarked for England on 19 June and arrived on 26 August 1918.

He was training in England to join the 4th Battalion when the war ended. He joined the Headquarters, Australian General Base Depot at Le Havre, France on 1 March 1919.

He embarked for Australia on 9 August 1919 and arrived on 3 October then was discharged from the AIF on 18 October 1919. [JSB]
