An important step taken this week.

We had a name but knew we needed a strong visual identity for the project. Pinterest made it easy to put together a mood board from which our designer Kasia developed these striking figures of a soldier and nurse against the geographic outline of Mosman.

We want to reach as wide an audience as possible, so recruitment posters of the era seemed an appropriate starting point.

From the outset, Local Studies Librarian Donna Braye has encouraged us to think beyond just flyers and posters in the library. So we’ve booked a couple of ads in the local paper and one in Australian Family Tree Connections.
