Biographical Summary:

A station overseer who enlisted in the AIF on 8 May 1916. He embarked for England on 30 September and arrived on 19 November 1916.

He joined the 5th Field Artillery Brigade in Belgium on 19 October 1917. He was wounded (right side) in action on 2 November 1917 but returned to duty on the same day.

He embarked for Australia on 4 January 1919 and arrived on 5 March then was discharged medically unfit from the AIF on 12 April 1919.
