Biographical Summary:
A printer’s clerk who enlisted in the AIF on 15 May 1916. He embarked for England on 11 November and arrived on 30 January 1917.
He joined the 5th Field Company Engineers on 23 May 1917. He was evacuated to hospital on 19 September initially in France then England for treatment and convalescence. It was decided that he should return to Australia.
He embarked on 5 November 1917 and arrived on 3 January then was discharged from the AIF on 11 February 1918. [JSB]
