Biographical Summary:

An articled law clerk who enlisted in the AIF on 1 November 1916. He embarked for England on 11 May and arrived on 19 July 1917.

He joined the 2nd Divisional Ammunition Column in France on 24 November 1917. He was transferred to the 2nd Australian Medium Trench Mortar Battery on 28 April 1918.

He embarked for Australia on 1919 and arrived on 24 April then was discharged from the AIF on 25 May 1919. [JSB]
