Biographical Summary:
A trained masseuse (physiotherapist) who was appointed to the AIF on 18 December 1915. She embarked for Egypt on 22 December 1915 as part of the Australian Army Medical Corps Staff on Australian Hospital Ship Kanowna.
She returned to Australia on 18 June 1916 and continued to serve in Australia.
She embarked for England on 5 June 1918 and arrived on 11 August 1918. She was immediately attached to the 3rd Australian Auxiliary Hospital at Dartford, England. Between June and October 1919 she undertook further full-time professional training at Kings College Hospital, London.
She embarked for Australia on 9 December 1919 and arrived on 2 February then her appointment with the AIF was terminated on 7 June 1920. [JSB]
