Biographical Summary:
A commercial traveller who enlisted in the AIF on 28 September 1915. He embarked for Egypt on 15 January 1916.
He joined the 1st Field Artillery Brigade (FAB) on 8 March 1916 which arrived at Marseilles, France on 27 March 1916 and immediately moved to northern France. He was then transferred to the 21st FAB on 15 May as part of the reorganisation of 1st Division Artillery units. He was transferred back to the 1st FAB on 24 January 1917.
He embarked for Australia on 12 June 1919 and arrived on 27 July then was discharged from the AIF on 19 September 1919. [JSB]
