Biographical Summary:

A cook who enlisted in the AIF on 9 March 1917. He embarked for Egypt on 2 November 1917 and arrived on 10 December.

He initially was held in training units then joined the 1st Australian Light Horse Regiment on 16 October 1918.

He embarked for Australia on 13 March 1919 and arrived on 19 April then was discharged from the AIF on 5 July 1919. [JSB]
