Biographical Summary:

A salesman who enlisted in the AIF on 9 January 1917. He embarked for England on 24 January and arrived on 27 February 1917.

Following training firstly as an infantry reinforcement then in signals, he joined the 4th Division Signals Company in France on 15 January 1918.

He embarked for Australia on 15 June 1919 and arrived on 2 August then was discharged from the AIF on 9 September 1919. [JSB]
