Biographical Summary:
A labourer who enlisted in the AIF on 10 November 1916. He embarked for England as a reinforcement for the 56th Battalion on 24 January and arrived on 27 March 1917.
Not long after his arrival he became ill and several times was hospitalised due to asthma. It was decided that he should return to Australia.
He embarked on 28 August and arrived on 24 October 1917. After further treatment he was discharged medically unfit from the AIF on 24 April 1918. [JSB]
