Biographical Summary:
A grazier who enlisted in the AIF on 24 August 1915. He embarked for England on 9 April.
He joined the 20th Battalion on 31 October when the battalion was in a rest area at Ribemont-sur-Ancre, France. He was wounded (eye, legs, hip) in action on 9 November when he was in the front line at Flers, France. He was evacuated to hospital at Rouen, France and died of his wounds on 22 November 1916. [JSB]
