Biographical Summary:

A labourer who enlisted in the AIF on 6 November 1914. He embarked for Egypt on 21 December 1914 with the 6th Australian Light Horse Regiment (ALH) and arrived on 1 February 1915.

He remained in Egypt while the 6th ALH was at Gallipoli. He continued to served with the 6th ALH until September 1917 when he transferred to the Australian Army Service Corps and joined the Australian Mounted Divisional Train.

He embarked for Australia on 15 November 1918 and arrived on . He was discharged from the AIF on 24 February 1919. [JSB]
